Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We aim to be as flexible as possible while respecting the time and resources of our team. Please review our updated cancellation and rescheduling terms below:

📅 Reschedules

  • Same-day reschedules are allowed, but the original booking is non-refundable if canceled entirely.

  • If you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, we’re happy to reschedule your session at no additional cost (subject to availability).

❌ Cancellations

We follow a flexible cancellation policy to support our clients while ensuring fairness to our team:

  • Full refund (excluding fees) for cancellations made 7 days or more before your scheduled session.

  • 50% refund (excluding fees) for cancellations made 3-6 days before the session.

  • No refund for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking.

File Transfer Policy

To maintain the highest level of organization, efficiency, and security for all media captured at Lazy Pickle Studios, we’ve outlined the following policy regarding file handling and delivery:

1. Preferred Method – Client-Supplied SD Cards

Unless Lazy Pickle Studios is handling post-production, we strongly advise clients to bring their own SD cards or external storage devices to transfer footage immediately after their session. This ensures that clients maintain full control over their media from the moment of capture and significantly reduces the risk of file loss.

2. File Transfers by Lazy Pickle Studios

In the event that file transfers are requested—for example, to send files to an external editor—Lazy Pickle Studios can handle this service for a fee of:

$50 per 100GB transferred.

(Additional charges may apply for larger files or multiple destinations.)

Clients will receive a download link via a shared cloud service. Files will remain available for 14 calendar days, though we highly recommend downloading within the first 3–5 days to avoid any potential access issues, corrupted links, or third-party storage errors.

3. File Retention & Storage Disclaimer

  • We retain raw footage on our backup system for up to 30 days from the session date. After this period, files may be permanently deleted without notice.

  • Lazy Pickle Studios is a production facility, not a cloud storage provider. We do not guarantee long-term file access beyond the initial delivery window.

  • We are not responsible for any lost, deleted, or corrupted files once files have been delivered.

4. Optional Add-Ons

Upon request and for an additional fee, clients may request:

  • Extended storage (60 or 90 days)

  • Delivery to a client-provided drive

  • Long-term cloud hosting

  • Hard drive duplication or mailing

By booking with Lazy Pickle Studios or requesting post-session file delivery, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms. If you have a specific workflow or post-production arrangement, we recommend discussing it with us prior to your session so we can best accommodate your needs
